[livejournal] Debating the move
Sep. 22nd, 2010 10:34 am...all while finding someone else on livejournal. xD
So, in case you haven't heard the news, there's been some things happening behind the scenes at livejournal. Let me start with: I'm not really all that freaked out about it. Other people have been trolled by staffers and some have been hit by Russian porn spam bots (this last reason being why I have closed comments on my introductory post; although it was only one, that was enough.)
ETA: You can read more about this here.
Many people, some I know included, have made the move over to dreamwidth, a site similar to livejournal. I've been debating this move for a while. With recent events, I might go through with it. If anything, this livejournal account would stay activated so I can still follow my friends and communities, but nothing would be posted by me on this journal. Come Hetalia Day, for example, I'll make a post at
hetaliaday. If another new Vocaloid comes out (Yamaha might be releasing another VY series Vocaloid this year), then, if no one comments on it in about twenty-four hours, I'll bring it up over at
vocaloid.
However, I haven't completely dedicated myself to this move. I wanted to know what you guys think.
You know what to do. All Russian spam bots will be deleted should they choose to post here.
ETA: Thanks to
monkeyfishbowl, I have a dreamwidth account set up now. If you feel the need to get one, you can ask her for a code in her post below.
My username is ladyviolathornhaven over there. :3
ETA2: Hey guys, guess who commented? A RUSSIAN SPAM BOT.
Comment deleted and user was banned. But, seriously? I'm now /this/ close to permanently moving.
ETA3 (10/19): And another. Last legs. Was nice knowing everyone here.
